With a bachelor's and a master's degree in viola performance, Laura has extensive experience as an international musician in the USA, Europe and Bermuda. She has played both violin and viola with professional orchestras, chamber groups, for weddings and special events since she was a teenager.
She was employed by the Bermuda School of Music as a music teacher and performer for 9 years and was principal viola for the Bermuda Philharmonic Orchestra. Before moving to Bermuda, she was a very active performer in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Laura had the privilege of being principal viola for the Huntington (WV) Symphony Orchestra and also performed with many other regional professional orchestras in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.
Laura is not only an experienced performer, but has nearly 20 years of teaching experience in violin, viola, and Kindermusik.
Currently she resides in France and has a small teaching studio, continues to study French, and performs in an orchestra in Poitiers and as a duo with a cellist for special events.
In her free time, she works as the senior content writer for Tempi and contributes her experience and knowledge to help musicians become better in music.
